After initially providing detailed feasibility analysis, CPS worked with the project team to develop two s4.55(2) modifications that were each approved by the regional panel. CPS led the liaison with Council and the regional panel and provided ongoing planning support to the clients and the project team, led by project managers, SPMA, and lead architects, Group GSA. The project is due for completion in 2024 and provides a model example for the refresh and upgrade of an ageing residential apartment building. The project will deliver two new luxury penthouses to the development, new balconies for every existing apartment, basement parking, communal open space, and the remediation of existing structural issues within the building.
